Spleen Tango Orchestra

Tango Spleen is one of the leading orchestras in today’s tango scene.
Founded in 2008 in Italy by Argentine pianist, singer, and composer Mariano Speranza, it stands out both for its interpretations and arrangements of classic tangos and for its original compositions.

With hundreds of performances, festivals, and shows alongside some of the most renowned tango artists, the orchestra has also developed remarkable collaborations across genres — from opera to progressive rock, fado, and singer-songwriter music. Tango Spleen has performed in over twenty-five countries, from Italy to Argentina, South Korea to the United States, Kuwait to Russia.

The only European ensemble ever invited to the Festival Nacional del Tango de La Falda (Argentina, 2011), Tango Spleen has impressed audiences at major concert series and dance seasons, moving thousands of dancers around the world in festivals such as Tarbes, Toulouse, Turin, Edinburgh, Bordeaux, Odessa, Trieste, Innsbruck, and Blackpool.
